Jerris Paul Gordon Zenner age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 at his home.

Jerris was born on April 11, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to Leonard Richard and Louise Mildred Melville Zenner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Octavia Zenner.

He proudly served his country in the U S Navy.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Jean Zenner of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Jeffery Paul Zenner of Hillsville, Virginia; Daniel Paul Zenner of Galax, Virginia; Shawn Travis Zenner (Channon Zenner) of Hillsville, Virginia; Shannon Zenner (Melissa Zenner) of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Vanessa O'Connell (Michael) of Orlando, Florida; Darlene Penfold of Tampa, Florida; brother and sister-in-law Gordon Baker (Cathy) of Durham, North Carolina;  seven grandchildren Danny; Danielle; Shelby; Isaiah; Autumn; Brandon and Amber; ; eight great-grandchildren James; Colton; Abby; Liam; River; Aurora; Hunter and Aspen; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Russell Payne officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
