Jennifer  Melton Anderson age 42 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025  at her home.

Jennifer was born in Galax, Virginia on April 13, 1983 to Billy Ray and Susan Lynn Alley Melton, Sr. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Melton.

She is survived by her father Billy Ray Melton, Sr. of Hillsville, Virginia; two sons Macen Anderson and Cayson Anders; fiancé' Steven Anders; sister and brother-in-law Amanda and James Whittington all of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Billy and Jessica Melton of Ennice, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Dina Clower officiating.
