Jeffrey Ray Donithan age 64 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 in the Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Jeffrey was born in Galax, Virginia on January 21, 1954 to James and Helen Leonard Donithan. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Jerry Wayne Donithan.
Jeffrey proudly served his country in the US Army Reserves.
In addition to his mother Helen Leonard Donithan of Galax, Virginia he is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law Patricia and Wayne (Peco) Watson; Linda Donithan; Nancy and Bud Swiney; Donna and Timmy Jennings; brothers and sisters-in-law Jimmie and Anna Donithan; David Lee and Nona Donithan all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Ron Hill and Harold Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from s ix until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
