Jearleen (Bell) Sizemore age 65 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at her home.

Jearleen was born on January 13, 1947 in Sparta, North Carolina to Arthur and Ada Delp Whitaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Jesse Whitaker, Frank Whitaker and Jerrell Whitaker.

She is survived by her husband John Wayne Sizemore of Galax, Virginia; daughter Johnetta Kjleen Mays of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Dennis Wayne and Lisa Sizemore of Woodlawn, Virginia; Jeffery Shane Sizemore of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Cody Sizemore, Jacob Nester, Kaitlyn Mays, Shane Sizemore, Cierra Sizemore; step-grandchild Courtney Wall; sisters and brothers-in-law Judy and Mike Pearman of Galax, Virginia; Janet and Ray Hill of Kernersville, North Carolina; brothers Jerry Whitaker, Gene Whitaker and Joe Whitaker all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 3:30 PM in the Robinson Cemetery with Rev. Myron Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
