Jeannie Emily Roberts Hawks age 70 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 31,2020 in the Wythe County Community Hospital.

Jeannie was born in Galax, Virginia on May 8, 1950 to Ralph Wayne Roberts, Sr. and Wilma Dixon Roberts.

She is survived by her husband Robert "Greg" Hawks of Galax, Virginia; daughter and boyfriend Karen "Michelle" Poe and Curt Lawson of Galax, Virginia; step-son William "Patrick" Hawks of Elkin, North Carolina; sisters Judy Evelyn Rippey; Marion "Denise" Roberts; brother and sister-in-law Ralph Wayne "Buddy" and Teresa Roberts all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; two great-nephews; grand-dogs Grace and Zoe.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Jennings Cemetery (Creekview Drive) with Howard Coletrain and Elder Pete Hawks officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Mask and Social Distancing will be required at the graveside service
