Jeanette Killon Lineberry, age 81 of Galax, VA, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at Waddell Nursing Home.

Mrs. Lineberry was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 6, 1929 to Elbert Morris and Mary Beatrice Murphy Killon.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Lineberry, Galax, VA.; daughter & son-in-law, Debbie & Randy Fender of Sparta, N.C.; sons & daughters-in-law, Gary & Janice Lineberry; Tim & Tracy Lineberry, all of Galax, VA, sisters, Jean Shuping of Winston Salem, N.C.; Jama Lee Bartley, Mt. Airy, N.C.; brothers & sisters-in-law, Pete & Sylvia Killon; of Galax, VA and Eddie Killon, Dobson, N.C.; grandchildren and spouses Tammy & Hobert Bailey; Ashley Lineberry; Sara & Darren Hanks; Regina & Scotty Triplett; Chris Fender and Tyler Lineberry; five great-grandchildren Garrett Bailey; Gavin Bailey; Hailey Triplett; Peyton Triplett and Madisyn Hanks; and several nieces & nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bob Adams and Pastor Cas Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
