Jean Poole Edwards age 70 of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Sunday November 12, 2006 at her home. She was born in Grayson County, Va. on April 20, 1936 to the late Roger & Cecil Combs Poole. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Edwards. She is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Terry & Karen Poole of Woodlawn, Va.; sisters & brothers-in-law, Betty Woosley of King, N.C.; Carol & Frank Morris of Galax, Va.; Linda & Bud Snow of Greensboro, N.C.; Alyce Milgrim of Roanoke, Va.; brothers & sisters-in-law, Bud & Brenda Poole; Bill & Tiney Poole all of Ennice, N.C.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday November 13, 2006 at 3:30 PM in Crab Creek Cemetery with Rev. Rick Lindamood officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 pm until 2:45 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Savannah United Methodist Church.
