Jean Cox age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Mrs.Cox was born on May 5, 1925 in Carroll County, Virginia to Doctor Sidney & Callie Mae Warf Jennings.
She is survived by her husband Everett Cox of Galax, Virginia; daughter & son-in-law Janet Elizabeth & Danny Thodos of Merritt Island, Florida; sons & daughters-in-law Gary Everett & Kathleen Cox; Danny Lee & Towana Cox; Robert Alan & Wanda Cox all of Galax, Virginia; sister Ottolene Jennings of Galax, Va.; grandson & wife Nicholas & Amy Thodos; step-grandson & wife Eric & Mandy Hutchens.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 25, 2009 at 11:00 am in River Hill Christian Church with Pastor Leo Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in River Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at River Hill Christian Church.
