Jason Lee Smith age 29 of Galax, Va. passed away Monday, October 1, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Jason was born on December 19, 1977 in Galax, Va. to Donald Charles & Barbara Fender Smith. He is survived by a daughter Alexis Nicole Smith of Rocky Mount, Va.; mother & step-father Barbara Ann & Greg Williams of Galax, Va.; brothers Marty Ray Smith & Greg Williams, Jr. of Galax, Va.; sisters Katrina Williams & Tara Williams of Galax, Va.; three nieces; two uncles; one very special aunt. The funeral service will be held Friday at 3:00 pm in First Baptist Church with Rev. K.T. Carico and Rev. Hans Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
