Jarrell Lovella Lemons, Jr.'s Obituary
Jarrell Lovella Lemons Jr. better known as Hommie Lemons age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Hommie was born on October 12, 1947 in Mt. Airy, North Carolina to Jarrell L. Lemons, Sr. and Pauline Rutherford Lemons.
In addition to his mother Pauline Lemons of Galax, Virginia he is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law Mary and Dale Burnette; Nancy Cruise; Linda Lemons; brothers and sister-in-law Roger and Lyndell Lemons; Robert Coleman all are of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews and a special caregiver Bonnie Smith also survive.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Robert McLean officiating. Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
