Janie Mae Neugent Lowe age 67 of Fancy Gap, Virginia passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at her home.

Janie was born in Grayson County, Virginia on February 8, 1953 to Elbert G. and Vergie Mae Brown Neugent.

She is survived by her husband Virgil Eugene Lowe of Fancy Gap, Virginia; son and special friend Darius Lee Rector and Sarah Davis of Galax, Virginia;  granddaughter Cheyenne Davis; great-grandson Eli Micheal Cordell; sisters and brother-in-law Nancy Neugent of Elk Creek, Virginia; Blanche and Carlos Settle; brothers Roger Neugent of Statesville, North Carolina; Jessie Neugent of Wytheville, Virginia; David and Dana Halsey of Elk Creek, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 4:00 PM in the Fairview Church with Pastor Sam Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Fairview Church.
