Janice Juanita Morehead

Janice Juanita Bundy Morehead age 94 of Lambsburg, Virginia passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026 at her home.

Mrs. Morehead was born in Tazewell, Virginia on August 5, 1931 to William Reece and Elsie Taylor Bundy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Newton Morehead; son Ronald Morehead; sisters Kathleen Corley; Betty Vanhoozier; Nancy Cassidy; Virginia Bundy and a brother Jack Bundy.

She was a devout Christian.

She is survived by her son Randall Morehead of Lambsburg, Virginia; sister Jeraline Clyburn of Tazewell, Virginia; two grandchildren Michelle Johnson and Timothy Morehead; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
