Janice Kay Kegley Lineberry age 70 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Janice was born on February 12, 1954 in Manassas, Virginia to Joseph Fred and Ethel Marie McMeans Kegley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law Hobert Duane Bailey; brother-in-law Gary Plant; father-in-law and mother-in-law Gene and Jeanette Lineberry.

She is survived by her husband Gary Stephen Lineberry; daughters and sons-in-law Tammy and Charles Lindquist, Jr.; Ashley and Kevin Leonard; Sara and Darren Hanks; sister Judy Plant; brother-in-law and wife Tim and Tracy Lineberry all of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law and husband Debbie and Randy Fender of Sparta, North Carolina; eight grandchildren Garrett Bailey; Gavin Bailey; Madisyn Hanks; Taylor Lineberry; Jordan Hanks; Allisyn Hanks; Hayden Lindquist and Ireland Leonard; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Vale Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Lindquist, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Mt. Vale Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Mt. Vale Youth or the Mt. Vale Cemetery Fund.
