Janette Grey Bennett age 51 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Jan was born in Galax, Virginia on April 7, 1966 to Zane and Ann Hines Bennett.
She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law Darrell M. and Lana Sexton of Woodlawn, Virginia; Donald R. and Debra Sexton of Gray, Tennessee; aunts and uncle Jean Turman; Arlene Funk both of Galax, Virginia; Linda and Bud Maness of Asheboro, North Carolina; niece Melanie Sexton of Chattanooga, Tennessee; nephews and spouses Brett and Regina Sexton of Galax, Virginia; Barry and Melissa Sexton of Bedford, Virginia; great-niece Rhenna Sexton of Galax, Virginia; great-nephews Chandler Sexton of Bedford, Virginia; Ryker Sexton of Galax, Virginia; Carroll House and IDC friends and staff.
The funeral service will be Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
