Jane Lee Rector Poole age 85 of Culpeper, Virginia and formerly of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 in the Culpeper Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Poole was born on May 25, 1925 in Fries, Virginia to Glen Lafayette and Charlotte Masser Rector. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Poole.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Suzie and Doug Taylor of Culpeper, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Paul R. and Susan Poole of Charlotte, North Carolina; Dan W. and Cynthia Poole of Ocala, Florida; grandchildren Paul Poole, Jr.; Stephanie Barker; Kellie Chesson; Cynthia Bedwell; Terri Poole; C.J. Poole; Derek Poole; Dan Poole, Jr.; Chris Taylor and Ryan Taylor; several great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Ray Poole of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Vickie Neese officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior the funeral service on Sunday.
