James Lee Williams better known as Jimmy Williams age 76 of Fries, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the Hillsville Health and Rehab Center.

Jimmy was born in Fries, Virginia (Grayson County) on June 2, 1946 to Thomas Ray Williams, Sr. and Ruby Etta Nichols Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Ray Williams and a sister Carol.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law Linda Sue and Daniel McPeak of Culpepper, Virginia; brother Larry Williams of Fries, Virginia; aunt Geneva Nichols of Galax, Virginia; niece and spouse April Brooks and Mark Wilmouth; nephews Danny McPeak; Gary McPeak and Patrick McPeak.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Fries Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 noon until time for the funeral service at the Fries Baptist Church.
