James Wayne Robinson, 51, of Galax,Virignia passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born in Galax, Virginia on February 8, 1963 to the late Donald Lee Robinson and Patsy Lineberry Robinson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Charles (Buster) Mottesheard.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Mottesheard Robinson of the home; daughter Caitlyn Marie Robinson of Galax; son James Evan Robinson of Galax; sister and her husband Diana Kinzer and David of Galax; niece and her husband Laura Beth Vest and Matt; nephew and his wife Nathanial Kinzer and Jenn; mother-in-law: Doris Mottesheard of Fries, Virginia; sister-in-law Karen Mottesheard Goad of Galax; brother-in-law and his wife: Charles Mottesheard and Victoria of Woodlawn, Virginia; and five great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ben Haga and Rev. Darren Kinzer officiating. Interment will follow in the Felts Cemetery, Glendale Road, Galax,Virignia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening October 8, 2014 from 6 until 8 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
