James "Jimmy" Phillip Moore, age 58, of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday December 24, 2020 in the Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Mr. Moore was born in Asheville, North Carolina on September 15, 1962 to Elmer Jr. and Marie Clark Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister June McCarter and by his brother Randy Wallen.

He is survived by his daughters Teila Moore of Woodlawn, Lacy Moore of Fries; son Matthew Moore of Woodlawn; sister and brother-in-law Becky and Perry Clyburn of Fries; brother Elmo Moore of Fries; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday December 28, 2020 at 3:30 PM in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Pastor Ron Fredricks officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Masks and social distancing will be required at the graveside service.
