Nelson Walker age 81 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Walker was born in Maryland on February 20, 1944 to Fred Gilbert and Edie McRoberts Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Irene Harrison Walker, daughter Lisa Graham and son James Franklin Walker.

He is survived by two grandchildren Michaela Redman (Shawn); Autumn Graham; daughter-in-law Bonnie Walker and son-in-law Michael Graham all of Galax, Virginia; one great-grandchild.

There will be no visitation or service held for Mr. Walker at this time.
