James Marvin Locklear, age 85, of Pulaski, Virginia passed away Friday May 24, 2024 in Waddell Nursing and Rehab.

James was born on April 17, 1939 in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late James and Mary Locklear. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sharon Ann Locklear as well as his brothers Charlie Locklear and Roscoe Locklear.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Diane and Johnny Hicks of Dublin, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Missy Locklear of Pulaski, Virginia; sister Barbara Ann Locklear; brothers Lacy Locklear, Billy Dean Locklear, Lawrence Locklear, Robert Earl Locklear and Venus Lockler; as well as his grandchildren David, Devin and Travis.

The funeral service will be held Saturday June 1, 2024 at 12:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery.. The family will receive friends at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
