James "Jack" Herbert Jones age 53 of Fries, Va. passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 at his home.
Jack was born on March 17, 1956 in Virginia to Garfield & Carlene McMickle Jones.
In addition to his mother of Fries, Va. he is survived by his wife Trish Jones; daughter Savanna Jones; son Travis Jones all of Fries, Va.; sister Becky Potter of Burlington, N.C.; granddaughter Haleigh Jones; nephews Kris Potter of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and Keith Manuel of Wytheville, Va..
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 3:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Rocky Dalton and Rev. William Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
