James Leverne Hutchens' Obituary
James Leverne Hutchens, age 56, passed away on Aug. 31. 2007 in Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta,GA. He was born on Oct. 27, 1950 to Leverne Hutchens and Virginia Vaught Hutchens in Mt. Airy, NC.
Survived by his wife, Nancy Leonard Hutchens, of the home, sons, Tracy Hutchens, Silver City, New Mexico and Trevor Hutchens, Galax. VA, sister, Pamela Ortego, Houston, Texas, brothers, Vaught Hutchens, Woodlawn, VA and Johnny Hutchens, Claudeville, VA, grandchildren Jacob and Lena Hutchens, special friends, Junior Anderson and Magen Bond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007 at the Locust Grove Church of Christ from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM. Guy Russell, Jr and Junior Anderson will be the officiating ministers. Interment will follow at the Oakland Cemetery, Carroll County, VA with Masonic Rites by the Oldtown Lodge # 68.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grady Burn Center, 80 Jesse Hill, Jr. Drive, Atlanta, GA 30303.
