James Michael Haynes age 51 of Galax, Va. passed away Monday, May 7, 2007 at his home. Mr. Haynes was born in Galax, Va. on October 24, 1955 to the late Everett Sidney & Beulah Rose Thomason Haynes. He is survived by his wife Diane McGee Haynes; daughter Sarah Ashley Haynes; son & daughter-in-law Michael Darin & Ashely Haynes; sister & brother-in-law Deloris & Ron Mayberry; brothers & sisters-in-law Jack & Linda Haynes; Bobby & Karen Haynes all of Galax, Va.; one grandson; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 8:00 PM at Springfield Church with Rev. Jay Fields & Rev. Jimmy Price officiating. Burial will follow on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Galyean Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until service time at Springfield Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Springfield Church.
