James Clayton Harrison, Jr. better known as J.C.Harrison age 59 of Galax, Va. passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Forsyth Medical Center.He was born in Carroll County, Va. on August 14, 1947 to the late James Clayton and Ida Mae Fortner Harrison. He is survived by his wife Gail Lineberry Harrison of Galax, Va.; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn & Ricky Walker of Galax, Va.; sister Wilma Faye Hudson of Galax, Va.; brother & sister-in-law, Danny & Phyllis Harrison of Akron, Ohio; two grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007 in Snow Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernie Smith and David Hankley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to CaringBridge, 1995 Rahn Cliff Court, Suite 200, Eagan, Minn. 55122. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Snow Hill Baptist Church.
