James Winston Gwyn age 68 of Independence, Virginia passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
James was born in Galax, Virginia on April 28, 1943 to Charles Winston and Gretchen Rose Tucker Gwyn.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Lelia and William Nelson of Alexandria, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Douglas and Charity Gwyn of Sparta, North Carolina; Thomas and Christine Gwyn of Kenosha, Wisconsin; Dean Gwyn of Galax, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the CME Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Gwyn officiating.
