James Boyd Graham age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday November 6, 2022 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

James was born in Galax, Virginia on July 6, 1948 to Elmer Boyd and Virginia Felts Graham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Virgil Graham.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Graham of Galax, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Melissa and Johnny Taylor of Independence, Virginia; Kimberly Graham and Alfonso (Fonz) Hernandez of Elliston, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Patsy Williams; Pauline Swinney; Gladys and Roger Redd; Ann and Hascal Wright; brothers and sisters-in-law Franklin and Linda Graham; Herbert and Betty Graham; Tony and Kathy Graham; special grandson Daniel James Gonzalez; grandchildren Jennifer Gonzalez; Maria Gonzalez; Kaitlin Alvarado; Jimmy Tate; Leann Tate; Abby Taylor; Lydia Juarez; Emily Juarez; great-grandchild Lorenzo Duran; several nieces and nephews; many special friends.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Johnson and the Rev. Ronald Gravley officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from seven until nine at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
