James Washington Gillespie Jr. of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday February 1, 2020 at his home.
James was born in Faquier County, Virginia on April 26, 1964 to James Washington Gillespie Sr. and the late Mary McFarland Gillespie.
He is survived by his father James Washington Gillespie Sr. of Galax, Virginia; special friend Melinda Massie of Lynchburg, Virginia; brothers Stewart Gillespie of Galax, Virginia, and William Gillespie of Lovingston, Virginia. Also surviving are nephews William Gillespie (Courtney) and Johnny Gillespie (Madlyn); great nieces Rylee Gillespie and Kathrine Gillespie; and great nephew Brayden Gillespie.
