James Edward Gardner's Obituary
James Edward Gardner age 83 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 8,2012 in the Blue Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Gardner was born in Roanoke, Virginia on December 20, 1928 to Jones and Ida Chapman Gardner.
He is survived by his wife Betty J. Gardner of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughter Darlene Kay Gardner of Hillsville, Virginia; son Richard J. Gardner of Woodlawn, Virginia; four grandchildren Travis Bunn, James Felts, Tyler Felts and James Jacob Gardner; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Robert Adams officiating. Burial will follow follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery with Military Rites by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM util time for the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
