James Dean Edwards age 51 of Fancy Gap, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

James was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 2, 1967 to Hampton Lewis and Bonnie Sue Hodges Edwards.

In addition to his parents of Woodlawn, Virginia, James is survived by his wife Della Faye Gravley Edwards of Fancy Gap, Virginia; children Geoffrey Edwards of Carroll County, Crystal Gravley of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Meagan and Wesley McBride, Ami and Claude Harrison all of Carroll County, Virginia; ; sisters and brother-in-law Barbara and Arnold Lundy of Galax, Virginia; Victoria Edwards of Carroll County, Va.; brothers and sisters-in-law Douglas and Donnie Edwards of Galax, Virginia; Charles and Pat Edwards of Carroll County; Robert and Eileen Edwards of Hillsville, Virginia; Michael and Connie Edwards of High Point, North Carolina; brother-in-law Doug Gravley; sister-in-law Robin Lovell;six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Trinity Baptist Church with Brother Chuck Edwards officiating.
