James Troy Delp's Obituary
James Troy Delp age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Delp was born in Grayson County, Virginia on February 25, 1942 to James Sherman and Hattie Coleman Delp. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Mildred Lee Delp and James Steven Mosley; brothers and sister-in-law Carl Gene Delp; Sherman Ray and Linda Delp.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Delp of Galax, Virginia; daughter and boyfriend Kathy Lynn Kenny and Steve Campbell of Hillsville, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law James Allen and Deborah Jean Delp of Sparta, North Carolina; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Jane Delp; Carol Roberts and Judy Love; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Camp Zion Cemetery with Sammy Burnette officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
