James Eddie Crotts age 88 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Crotts was born in Carroll County, Virginia on November 24, 1929 to Eddie and Martha Sumner Crotts. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Violet Pauline Edwards Crotts.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Mary and Donald Bailey; Pat and Chuck Edwards; sons and daughters-in-law Glenn Crotts; Earl and Rose Crotts; Mike and Kathy Crotts; Anthony and Tammy Crotts all of Woodlawn, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Rhoda and Bill Roberts of Williamsburg, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Frank and Pat Farmer of Delaware; Sidney and Barbara Farmer of Woodlawn, Virginia; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
