James Kyle Christman age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Christman was born on February 16, 1946 in Carroll County, Virginia to Charles T. and Donna Lyons Christman.
He is survived by his wife Darlene Christman of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Rodney and Shanna Christman of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Kayla Christman; Alison Christman; Rodney (Buck) Christman, Jr.; expected great-grandchild Kylee D. Christman; sister and brother-in-law Glenda and Carl Funk of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Earl and Lettico Christman of Galax, Virginia; Donald Christman of Dobson, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; special friend Bill Padgett.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Christman and the Rev. Cas Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
