James Carl Delp age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed way Monday, January 4, 2021 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Carl was born in Carroll County, Virginia on November 1, 1929 to Garnett and Edith Patton Delp.

He is survived by his wife Judy Owens Delp; son and daughter-in-aw J.C. and Lori Delp all of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Sue and Phil Hancock of Raphine; Sandy and Dan Worrell of Woodlawn, Teresa and Douglas Satterfield of Huntersville; Sandy and Robert Jones of Galax; Kim and Troy Paisley of Brandenbreg; Richard and Mary Ann Meredith of Allisonia; John Meredith of Galax, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Barry Newman and Honorary Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
