James Buford Haynes' Obituary
James Buford Haynes age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Haynes was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 8, 1929 to Jesse and Nora Mooney Haynes.
He is survived by his wife Ila Kirby Haynes; son and daughter-in-law James Keith and Susan Marie Haynes; sister Frances Nale; sister-in-law Irene Kirby all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Gayheart and Elder Edward Bowman officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Galax Primitive Baptist Church, C/O Jimmy Haynes, 1438 Cranberry Road, Galax, Virginia 24333. The family also request no food please.
