James Randall Bond age 78 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Bond was born on April 8, 1941 in Carroll County, Virginia to Clifford and Ethel Hill Bond.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law Kathy and T.J. Padgett of Raleigh, North Carolina; Tina Bond of Vancouver, Washington; two grandchildren Sierra Bond and Yecencia Bond; brothers and sisters-in-law Carroll Eugene and Mary Bond of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Don and Anna Bond of Vinton, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
