Mr. Jackson Earl Murphy age 64 of Winston-Salem, N.C. passed away Thursday, November 8, 2007 in Kindred Hospital. Mr. Murphy was born on March 3,1943 in Alleghany County, N.C. to Roy & Elsie Carr Murphy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Lois Murphy, brothers Donald Gene Murphy, E.J. Murphy, E.R. Murphy and Nelson Murphy. He is survived by several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 3:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Roy Houser officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Creek Cemetery with Military Rites by Sparta VFW Post 7034. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
