Jack Wilson age 76 of Galax, Va. passed away Monday November 20, 2006 at the Dunmore Plantation in Dobson, N.C.. He was born in Grayson County, Va. on July 13, 1930 to the late Thomas B. & Lillian Brannock Wilson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ida Faye Smith Wilson. He is survived by two sons Larry Wilson of Galax, Va. and Jackie Wilson of King, N.C.; sisters, Gelene Lane of Greensboro, N.C.; Irene Wilson of Ennice, N.C.; brothers J.E. Wilson & Paul Wilson both of Ennice, N.C.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday November 21, 2006 at 8:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Fred Jennings & Rev. Gray Burcham officiating. Burial will be Wednesday November 22, 2006 at 10:00 AM in Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the funeral home.
