Jack Bryant Davis known as Papa Jack age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Davis was born on May 8, 1941 in Galax, Virginia to John Bishop and Ann Busic Davis.

He is survived by his wife Angie Davis; daughter and son-in-law Tanya and Mike Ayers; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Carrie Davis all of Galax, Virginia; step-daughter and husband Crystal and Jordan Anderson of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Susie and Johnny Johnson of Leesville,  Louisiana;  Anita and Jeff Sedlak of Solon, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law Tommy and Linda Davis of Washington State; Charlie and Temple Davis; Moe and Denise Davis all of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Kathy Davis of Culpepper, Virginia; twelve grandchildren Justin Ayers; Lindsey Ayers; Conner Davis; Hanna Davis; Kristina Taylor; Victoria Taylor; Andrew Taylor; Landon Taylor; Cole Pickett; Aiden Anderson; Liam Anderson; Harlow Anderson; one great-grandchild Marleigh Sage Bond; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Saturday at 6:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Jeff Combs officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 PM until time for the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
