Ivan Paul Lindsey age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 in the Blue Ridge Health and Rehab Center.

Mr. Lindsey was born on July 6, 1934 in Carroll County, Virginia to Ernest Gillmore and Maleisa  Reynolds Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife Mintie Ann Moser Lindsey of Galax, Virginia; two nieces and spouses Vicki and Mike Myers; Dana and Ronnie Higgins; five nephews and spouses Terry and Sandy Moser; Jeff and Hollye Moser; Larry and Susan Lindsey; Patrick and Toni Lindsey; Jason and Polly Lindsey; brother-in-law and spouse Roy and Iva Moser; sisters-in-law Joann Jennings and Brenda Lindsey; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Vale Cemetery Fund.
