Iva Rea Edwards Jennings, age 98, of Lynchburg, VA, formerly of Woodlawn, VA, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the Lynchburg Health & Rehab Center, Lynchburg, VA.

Mrs. Jennings was born Aug. 12, 1914 in Carroll County, VA to James H. & Joanna Ogle Edwards. She was the widow of Jake J. Jennings.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jessie, Jr. (Jay) and Gail Jennings, Lynchburg, VA; sisters; Earthel Coulson, Hillsville, VA and Jewell E. Lineberry, Galax, VA. Several nieces & nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Woodlawn United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 Tuesday, May 7, 2013 prior to the funeral service. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Terri Gregory.
