Irma Lee Green Spencer, age 94, of Blythewood, SC died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Magnolia Manor in Columbia, South Carolina.

Mrs. Spencer was born in Grayson County, VA May 22, 1922 to Click Arthur and Lucy Cedella Galyen Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Seaton Ray Spencer, brother, Harry Green, sisters, Neva, Velma, Nettie & Glenna.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Herman, Blythewood, SC; sister & brother-in-law, Ella and James Belitza, Pennsgrove, NJ; brothers & sisters-in-law, Noe & Rowena Green, John & Nancy Green, of Galax, VA and Ira Green, Waco, Texas; grandchildren and spouses Dusty Franklin and Bryan; Charles Herman and Brookelyn; great-grandchildren Brittany, Ryan, Elise, Kaylyn, Jordan, Sammy, Gabrielle and Bryson; two great grand dogs Theo and Frankie; several nieces & nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel, Galax, VA with burial to follow in the Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from one until two PM preceding the funeral service on Friday at the funeral home. Officiating ministers will be Elder David Kamoda and Elder James Wyatt.
