Irene Roberts' Obituary
Irene Roberts age 79 of Fancy Gap, Va. passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Waddell Nuring Home.
Mrs. Roberts was born on May 30, 1930 in Carroll County, Va. to Clayton & Ida Jennings Lineberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Walter Roberts.
She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law James W. & Mary Roberts; Danny Roberts all of Fancy Gap, Va.; Michael & Helen Roberts of Burlington, N.C.; Randy & Janet Roberts of Woodlawn, Va.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be Saturday, August 15,2009 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Richard Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
