Irene Yvonne Brown age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in Galax, Virginia.
Mrs. Brown was born in Grayson County, Va. on October 8, 1940 to William Bill & Lotis Janetta Bryan Blair. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Brown, Jr..
She is survived by her daughters Bonnie Brown and Gloria J. Stallard both of Galax, Va.; Vonda Kay Brown of Macon, Ga.; son Nathaniel Brown of Galax, Va.; grandchildren Tamika Blair, Keyanna Blair, LaToya Blair, Tremayne Blair, Gavin Brown and Brandon Brown; great-grandchildren Nazareth Blair and Ezra Blair.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 6:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Raymond Brown, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from five until service time at the funeral home.
