Inez Mae Williams age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Williams was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 19, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband Hallie B Williams; mother Stella Bourne Campbell; children Linda Jane Williams; Wanda Pauline Williams; Gilmer Lee Williams; Amber Hope Williams; her twin sister Ilene Bourne; siblings Gaynell  Reeder; Nora Wright; Mabel Stuart; Ann Cornett; Elizabeth Shumate and Douglas Campbell.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Charles (Butch) Smith; Bobby and Louise Williams; Freddie Williams; Joey Williams; Alfred and Rebecca Williams; Connie and Valerie Williams; David Williams all of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Maggie McKenzie of Galax, Virginia; Helen and Donald Higgins of South Carolina; brothers and sisters-in-law Eulice and Wilma Campbell of Max Meadows, Virginia; Dallas and Clara Campbell of Fries, Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Flemming officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
