Inez Paisley Huff, age 88 passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in the Woltz Hospice House, Dobson, NC.

Mrs. Huff was born in, the Baywood area of Grayson County on September 7, 1929 to John and Alice Paisley.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Coy Rupert Wilson and Ed Huff, a daughter Phyllis Ann Parrish, and a son, William John (Bill) Huff, a sister, Eva Puskin and brothers, Dan, Curtis and Kyle.

She is survived by a daughter and husband, Sara and Dale Coalson of Mt. Airy, NC and a son and daughter in law, Gary and Brenda Huff of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jeff and Amy Coalson and Josh, Justin  and Matthew Huff.   She is also survived by six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of special friends

Inez will be remembered especially for her love of her family, her knowledge of antiquing which she enjoyed beyond measure and her social life of playing bridge with many great friends in the area.   Inez graduated from Galax High School and attended secretarial school in Evanston, IL.   She moved back to the area from Culpeper, VA in 1967 and developed a special relationship with the Howard and Verta Key family where she continued to explore her love of antiques with this family for many years. She worked at Twin County Regional Hospital for 23 years where she also became family to many co-workers.  Inez never met a stranger and once you met her, you would never forget her. She was a special lady in her own way and always caused you to laugh and cheer you up.

The family wishes to express special appreciation to Evaunda Waller for the wonderful care she provided for the past seven years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dr. Thomas Whartenby and Bishop Larry Huff officiating.   Interment will be private at a later date.  Family will receive friends starting at 1:00 until time of service.
