Ineda Lou Durnil Jennings age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Jennings was born on January 4, 1923 in Carroll County, Virginia to Dexter and Pearl Cox Durnil. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Philip Jennings and sister Matoka Alderman.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Sam & Susan Jennings; Dale & Mary Jennings; Rodney & Cheryl Jennings; Tim & Donna Jennings all of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Nona Jean & Edward Alderman of Woodlawn, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Monday, September 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Snow Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ernie Smith officiating.
