Mrs. Mildred Guy Kane, age 91, of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday August 7, 2018 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Kane was born on September 11, 1926 in Grosclose, Virginia to the late John Seldon and Vergie Smith Guy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest J. Kane.

She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Phillips of Galax, Virginia; son Bobby Kane of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren James Phillips, David Phillips, Tyler Kane, John Kane; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be held Saturday August 11 at 3:00 PM at Felts Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Ernie Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, August 11 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
