Imojean Chappell Manuel, age 84, of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away July 4, 2019 in Galax Nursing and Rehab. Imojean was born November 6, 1934 in Carroll County, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years Donald Lee Manuel and son Jackie Manuel.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Sue and Curlee Horton of Fairview, North Carolina; Sally and Jimmy Anders of Independence, Virginia; Carolyn and Wayne Roberts of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law: Johnny Manuel of Galax, Virginia; Jimmy and Carol Manuel of Ridgeway, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law: Barbara and Sid Farmer of Woodlawn, Virginia. Also surviving are fifteen (15) grandchildren; thirty (30) great grandchildren; three (3) great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Newman, Pastor D. G. Fox and Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow in McKenzie Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Bible Baptist Church from 2:00 PM until service time.
