Imogene Richardson age 89 of Galax, Virginia, passed away Tuesday April 7, 2026 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Richardson was born on August 23, 1936 in Carroll County Virginia to Romie and Emma Ayers Russell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Zeb Richardson.

She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law Dewey and Glenda Darlene Harmon, Jr.; Dwayne and Pam Harmon all of Woodlawn, Virginia; Joe and Julia Harmon; Scott and Grace Harmon all of Galax, Virginia; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Titus Anderson and Pastor Freddie Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
