Imagene Stanley Vaughan age 85 of Fries, Va. passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Vaughan was born in Grayson County, Va. on May 29, 1922 to Willie & Moody Black Stanley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leon Vaughan. She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law Peggy & Harry Bilbrey of Stokesdale, N.C.; son & daughter-in-law Sammy & Cathy Vaughan of Hillsville, Va.; brother James Eldwin Stanley of Havre de Grace, Maryland; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a special friend Louise Byrd. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church.
